BREAKING: Kwankwaso, Keyamo Loses Out As Tinubu Submits Last Batch Of Ministerial Nominees, Full List
The former Governor of Kano state’s push to serve in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet failed as his name was missing in the last batch of the list of Ministers.
The new ministerial nominees include: Ahmed Tijani, Dr Isiaka Salako, Dr Tunji Alausa, Tanko Sunisi, Atiku Bagudu, Bello Metawalle, Ibrahim Gaida, Simon Lalong, Lola Ade John, Prince Abubbakar Audu, Senator Sabi Abdullahi, Alkali Samani, Senator Henekeins Lokpobori, and Gboyega Oyetola.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio read the Presidential communication at plenary on Wednesday, August 2nd.
Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, brought in the communication from the President during plenary while a ministerial nominee, Lateef Fagbemi, was being screened on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
The President had on Thursday, July 27, 2023 nominated 28 ministers.
The 28 ministerial nominees who had been screened on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are:
