New Government, New Suffering – Says Nigerian Blogger, Dee As Fuel Hits N500 At Official Price
Nigerian Blogger Dominic Edet Edem popular know as Dee, has said the new government of President Bola Tinubu has brought automatic suffering upon Nigerians following the hike in fuel from about N190 to over N500.
Dee tagged Tinubu’s government as ‘new government, new suffering’, mocking its campaign’s ‘Renewed Hope’.
Naija News House reports that filling stations are now selling petrol at prices above N500 per litre.
This happened immediately Tinubu announced that the controversial fuel subsidy has been removed.
In reaction Dee opined that the goal of any President should be how to return the pump price of fuel to the N68 it used to be under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“The goal should be for fuel to return to N68 per liter like under PDP when there was corruption and dollar at N180. This is automatic renewed suffering, he said this on his Facebook account.
