Nnamdi Kanu Will Be Released Next Week – Kemi Olunloyo Reveals Top Secret
Kemi Olunloyo says Nnamdi Kanu Will Be Released Next Week
Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has anticipated the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a post on her Twitter handle on Thursday, Olunloyo expressed that the Muhammadu Buhari-drove federal government might drop all charges against the Biafra activist.
She recalled that she had told Nigerians last month that the IPOB leader would be released soon.
Kemi Olunloyo expressed: “This time next week I’m predicting that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be released from DSS Custody and all his federal charges dropped.
“He may be given exile stipulations but then he’s a Nigerian National. I told you FIRST last month that he will be released soon.”
Nnamdi Kanu is confronting a amended 7-count charge verging on treasonable felony and acts of terrorism which were brought against him by the Federal Government after his re-arrest and repatriation to Nigeria in June this year.
The IPOB leader has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) from where he goes to his court meetings in Abuja in the midst of heavy security.
Justice Binta Nyako had adjourned Kanu’s case till January 19 and 20, 2022, for preliminary.
In any case, the IPOB leader is set to appear in a emergency court meeting planned, in what a few sources say is a transition to allow the Biafra activist bail.
