Ex-President says Nnamdi Kanu Is Shining, Buhari Taking Good Care Of Him In Detention
A former Presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for taking care of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
According to Garba, Kanu looks good even though he has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since June.
Garba disclosed this on his Facebook page while reacting to the pro-Biafra separatist leader’s appearance at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.
He wrote, “Buhari knows how to handle and care for his prisoners. See how Mr. Kanu is shining.”
Kanu was arraigned on Thursday at the Federal High Court in Abuja before Justice Binta Nyako where he faced seven amended counts bordering on terrorism and treasonable felony levelled against him by the Nigerian government.
He was brought to court by the DSS amid tight security. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and his case was subsequently adjourned to November 10th.
