Pope Francis Sends Strong Message To Christian Community, Read What He Said
Supreme Pontiff, head of state of Vatican City and leader of the Roman Catholic Church Pope Francis has sent a strong message to the Christian community especially Catholics by asking them to pray for him specially.
Pope Francis made this request via his official Twitter handle. In his tweet, he mentioned the feast of Saints Peter and Paul as the major reason for this request.
The feast of Saints Peter and Paul two important figures of the church comes up on the 29th of June. On this day the church remembers Saint Peter one of the disciples of Jesus Christ who is also the first-ever Pope and Saint Paul one of the greatest apostles.
To be the leader of the biggest Christian denomination is not an easy task, and even though he may be the Pope, Pope Francis still needs the help of others and this can only come in form of prayers. Prayers for more strength to carry on with his missionary work.
This request also shows that we should always put our leaders in prayers because the job at their feet is not an easy one. May the almighty continue to strengthen all those who are working in his vineyard, amen.
