Real Madrid defender May leaves for his former club, it has been reported but unconfirmed that Real Madrid defender and captain Sergio Ramos will leave the Spanish side at the expiration of his contract on June 30.

The Spanish club announced Ramos’ exit from the club in a statement on their website on Wednesday.
Ramos will be hosted to a farewell event on Thursday In celebration of his service to the Spanish side tomorrow, the club said.
“Real Madrid C.F. announces that tomorrow, Thursday 17 June, at 12:30 p.m., an institutional act of tribute and farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos will be held, which will be attended by our president Florentino Pérez,” the statement reads.
Ramos, 35, joined Madrid from Sevilla in 2005. He is leaving Madrid after a 16 year brilliant career with the Spanish giant, playing in 671 games, scoring 101 goals with 40 assists.
With Madrid, Ramos won five La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey, four Supercopa, four Champion Leagues, three UEFA Super Cups, four Club World Cups and one World Cup Spain national team.
Unconfirmed reports have it that Ramos would be returning to his former club, Sevilla, although the announcement of his exit from Madrid could trigger interests from Paris or London.
