Tiwa Savage has issued a terse statement following the wild and mixed reactions that greeted her alleged intimate video.
Judging from her message that was posted on her Instagram account Friday morning, it is obvious the Somebody’s Son singer had picked useful lessons from the mishap and has already moved on.
Her statement also suggested that her blackmailers failed to achieve their intended purpose, even as the 41-year-old mother-of-one warned people never to speak on the matter anymore.
The Afrobeats singer wrote: “Charge that shit to the game n never speak on it again…. 😈”
Her fans and followers have reacted to her reaction.
@Donaldkim79 said: “Strongest woman I have ever seen much love from California ❣️”
@Kingtriggae added: “My love for you just died after seeing that shi*t tape of yours Now I’m going for Yemi Alade 😡😡😡”
For @Noradiva, an apology would suffice: “Apologize to those looking up to you!” the user said.
@Dopamu_wire_cant_zzzzzzz likes the way the Afrobeats singer handled the matter: “I like the energy you giving them back …at least they’ve done their worst .. but tiwa keep savaging 😍🙌🙌🙌🙌much love Eje.”
As you know by now, the songwriter who is signed to Universal Music Group had revealed in September that her unidentified lover accidentally posted their private video to his account. Before he could delete it, a stalker had already downloaded the tape, Tiwa said.

Speaking to radio host Angie Martinez of Power 105.1 in New York, the “Eminado” hitmaker said: “I am not going to call it a s3x tape but it’s a tape between me and the person I am dating right now.”
she said she could put out the s3xtape herself. “I am that crazy I could put it out myself – you are not making any money off me.”
Tiwa mentioned that she was not going to pay the blackmailer who had demanded some money to keep the video under wraps.
However, following the emergence of the tape, some people condemned her for allowing a man to record her while she was in action. Others displayed understanding, saying nobody is above mistake. Yet a section asked her to plead for forgiveness from God and apologise to her fans – some who might be setting her as standard.
Tiwa did also comment on the issue, directing her thoughts to the blackmailers.
The popular artist took to her Instastories and said: “You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me.
“And how I was able to joke on stage about something you thought will destroy me and make me ashamed.”
