EXCLUSIVE: Real Reason Bandits Released 287 Schoolchildren Abducted In Kaduna
Bandits in Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria, have released all 287 schoolchildren abducted from Kuriga in the Chikun Local Government Area.
The students, aged five to 18, were taken from Kuriga primary and secondary schools on March 7.
Governor Uba Sani confirmed their release in a statement on Saturday, expressing gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the security forces for their efforts.
However, details on the manner of release were not provided in the statement.
Governor Sani mentioned working closely with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, since the abduction to secure the children’s freedom.
