SCHOOLS RESUMPTION: FG Releases Full Guidelines
Ahead of 18 January, 2021 Schools reopening, The Federal Government has listed important guidelines for educational institutions across the country to comply with, as part of efforts to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
Ben Bem Goong, Director of Press in the Federal Ministry of Education, In a statement issued on Thursday, Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu, announced the ban of large gatherings such as assemblies and visiting days.
The minister also warned students that, there is nothing like overcrowding either in classrooms or hostels are barred, while social distancing must be strictly monitor.
The minister also instructed all the schools authorities to ensure mandatory wearing of face masks by all students, teachers and workers at all levels, as well ensure temperature checks.
School management also to make available functional health clinics with facilities for isolation, ensure constant supply of water and hand sanitisers, face masks and transportation of suspected cases to medical facilities.
