Information reaching Naija News House says that Several Killed In Attack On Shrine
Several people were killed on Sunday when gunmen attacked Shia shrine in Iran.
The attack at the Shah Cheragh shrine in the city of Shiraz was carried out by two gunmen, the semi-official Tasnim news agency said, adding that one of the assailants was detained, while the second perpetrator managed to escape, prompting an ongoing pursuit.
Last October, a gunman targeted the same shrine, killing at least 13 people. ISIS later claimed responsibility for the attack.
Last month, Iran publicly hanged two men over the October attack.
