BREAKING: Decomposing Bodies Of Teenage Girls Found In Forest
The Amotekun Corps, a regional security outfit in southwest Nigeria, has uncovered the decomposing bodies of two teenage girls in a forested area of Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The gruesome discovery was linked to a 29-year-old suspect, O. Philip, who is believed to be a serial killer. He was arrested by Amotekun operatives in Ogun State during a targeted operation.
Confirming the incident on Thursday, the Head of Communications for the security outfit, Adeleye Abiodun Adewale, revealed that the suspect had allegedly murdered at least three young girls, including an 18-year-old, across different locations in Ogun State.
Adewale disclosed that the suspect had spent about a month in the Ijjao area of Aramoko-Ekiti, where he allegedly killed two other girls, identified as Taiwo and Fatoki Seun.
“The body of Taiwo (name and age withheld) was found in a bush along Egbewa Street, near an uncompleted building in Aramoko-Ekiti, while Fatoki Seun’s remains were discovered in another bush along Oke-Oja Street in the same town,” Adewale explained.
He added that the remains, already in an advanced state of decomposition, were infested with maggots by the time they were found.
The bodies were later transferred by health and environmental officers to the General Hospital in Aramoko-Ekiti for further investigation and proper handling.
