Senator Bassey Attends Akwa Ibom State Special Thanksgiving Service
The Senator representing the Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, Senator Aniekan Bassey, attended a Special State Thanksgiving Service on Sunday at All Nations Christian Ministry International, Eket, Naija News House reports.
The event, themed “My Heart Rejoiceth in the Lord,” had Evangelist Gboyega Shitta as the Guest Minister. It was also in celebration of the Supreme Court victory of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
On 11 February, 2023, Naija News House reported how Supreme Court affirmed Umo Eno as the winner of 2023 Gubernatorial election in Akwa Ibom State.
Among the special dignitaries in attendance were the President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio; the State Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, National and State Assembly
Senator Bassey is the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture Production Services and Rural Development.
