The Oldest Woman Is Dead, the information reaching us is that the oldest woman, Madam Akon Asuquo Akpan, popularly known as Maeyen Etim of Ekpeneibia in Uruan LGA of Akwa Ibom State is dead. She died at the age of 109.
The announcement was obtained on Thursday, 24th June, 2021 by Naija News House, from Elder Chris Asuquo, the son of the deceased.
According to Elder Asuquo, the deceased died after a brief illness.
The announcement Reads:
Friends, brothers, sisters, colleagues, this is to inform you that my loving mother of 109 years old has peacefully gone to rest with the Lord.
May His name be glorified. Burial arrangements would be announced later. Elder Chris Asuquo.
Naija News House gathered that
the woman left behind four children, grand children, great grand children to mourn her.
