From what we gathered,both lovers who are from Okija in Anambra State drank snipper because their parents refused to give their consent for them to get married because of Osu and Ohu Caste system.

The lovers wrote a letter before committing suicide.

“We made up our minds to end it all because we can’t stay without each other.
