Don’t Invite Any Prophet To Apostolic Pulpit, Apostle Udofia Warns Pastors
Pastor Imo Okon Udofia, the Area Superintendent of the Apostolic Church Nigeria, Nyanya, FCT Field, has issued a strong warning to all pastors and Assembly leaders under the Nyanya Area.
He instructed them not to invite any prophet or pastor from outside the church to speak from the pulpit for spiritual work, assessments, deliverance, or other activities.
“Instead of looking for prophets outside the Apostolic Church, invite your colleagues or members within the Area who can render the necessary services,” said Udofia.
Pastor Udofia has established a system called ‘Team Work,’ encouraging pastors and leaders to seek help from their colleagues within the Area.
He urged pastors and leaders to refrain from such practices to avoid punishment.
He emphasized that inviting outsiders for prophetic work is risky as it may lead to losing members after the prophet leaves.
Naija News House recalled how popular Nigerian pastor, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, warned his members not to invite unknown prophets to the altar.
Pastor Udofia further warned pastors and Assembly leaders not to seek promotions or upgrades without his knowledge.
He urged them to focus on growing their churches, assuring them that the council would upgrade the church to a district or Area when necessary.
“I’m not a stingy pastor. I’m ready to help anyone become anything they want.
If you want to be a pastor, work well and let your work speak for you, then I will do what is necessary rather than you going behind my back,” said Udofia.
Udofia made this announcement on Sunday during the first Area combined service while addressing the church after resuming his position as Superintendent.
