Woman Pours Hot Water on Husband’s Second Wife, Daughter
A 30-year-old woman, Hauwa Auwal of Shekara Sabuwar was arrested on Monday by Kano State Police Command in Kumbotso LGA of Kano State, for pouring hot water on her husband’s second wife, Sha’awanatu Muhmmad and her four-year-old daughter, Halima Khalid.
When contacted, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Kano State Police Command spokesperson, who confirmed the arrest, said police operatives stormed the house after receiving reports of the incident and arrested the culprit and rushed the victims to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital for medical treatment.
On her part, Hajiya Binta Isma’il, the mother of the victim, appealed to the state government and other prosperous individuals to help settle the medical bills of her daughter and granddaughter.
