Hon. Ekpenyong Presents N7.270Billion 2025 Budget
Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpenyong, the Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom state on Friday presented the sum of N7.270Billion as the proposed 2025 Budget before legislative council. Says 2025 Budget will transform Uruan Local Government Area into an urbanized city.
Ekpenyong tagged 2025 Budget as Consolidation and Expansion.
According to the budget, the economic sector has the highest allocation of Four Billion, Four Hundred and Twenty-Seven Million, Five Hundred and Six Thousand Naira (N4,427,506,000.00) in an attempt to pursue and sustain growth through rapid construction of access roads to the Council and internal roads in Idu.
Construction of administrative and legislative block in the council, renovation of primary school block in each zone, grading of roads in all zones, construction of skill acquisition center, construction of Police station in Adadia, and other capital projects within our available resources.
He urged House members to share in his administrative aspiration that the 2025 consolidation and expansion budget is designed to address critical issues, laying a solid foundation throughout the Administration, while appealing that they give expeditious attention to the 2025 estimates to translate the content of the estimates into concrete realities.
However, Seven Billion, Two Hundred and Seventy Million Naira (N7,270,000,000.00) has been proposed for the 2025 fiscal year.
