In a bid to boost agricultural productivity and alleviate poverty, Member Representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency, Hon. Clement Jimbo has facilitated a training program for farmers in his constituency.
NNH gathered that Not less than 250 constituents from Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency are smiling to the Bank as they have received adequate knowledge on Agro-allied venture and certifications with #80,000 naira grants to venture into agriculture of their choice today, Saturday, 14th December, 2024 at Sky Top Hotel, Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Jimbo, charged the people never to sit on the fence with their lives but to be very decisive and be purpose-driven as agriculture can enrich them if they put in their knowledge, energy, time and resources into it.
He went ahead to probe to ascertain if what was conceived in the plan was what his people enjoyed and expressed satisfaction with not only the facilitor and the instructors but with the Centre for Management Development for being shrewd in the execution of the project.
