‘You Won’t Regret Listening to Us’, Tinubu Tells Fubara at APC Rally in Rivers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, not to regret accepting his intervention in the political crisis between him and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

The President made this statement on Saturday during the APC rally in Rivers State, where he addressed party supporters and residents.
Speaking directly to Fubara, Tinubu said: “You will not regret your decision to listen to us.”
Recall that Tinubu intervened in the political feud between Fubara and Wike following months of hostility that plunged Rivers State into a major political crisis.
The disagreement created tension within the state’s political structure and affected the activities of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Tinubu’s intervention was aimed at restoring peace between the two political camps, resulting in a reconciliation arrangement.
His latest comments at the APC rally have once again drawn attention to the political settlement and the circumstances surrounding Fubara’s decision to accept the President’s intervention.
