2027: Oluremi Tinubu Tasks APC Women on Grassroots Mobilisation, Unity

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return to their respective states and communities to communicate the achievements, policies and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to Nigerians.
Senator Tinubu said APC women have a critical role to play in explaining the administration’s policies, mobilising support at the grassroots and ensuring that the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches communities across the country.
She made the call on Monday in Abuja at the one-day Women Stakeholders Mobilisation and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Summit, which she convened.
The summit, themed “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reform to Prosperity,” brought together APC women stakeholders to discuss mobilisation, empowerment and the party’s preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The First Lady described the theme as more than a slogan, saying it reflected the direction of the administration and its efforts to move Nigeria towards greater prosperity.
She highlighted what she described as key areas of progress under the Tinubu administration, including economic stabilisation, efforts to reduce inflation, growth in foreign reserves, increased investor interest and greater support for farmers.
Senator Tinubu also commended APC women across the country for their support, prayers and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
She urged the women to work collectively with stakeholders across the Presidency, National Assembly and state structures to ensure that the administration’s message and achievements are effectively communicated to Nigerians at the grassroots.
According to her, women remain critical to grassroots mobilisation and must remain united, committed and focused as the APC prepares for the 2027 general elections.
She therefore called on APC women to speak with one voice and intensify their engagement with communities in support of the party’s political objectives.
