Information reaching Naija News House says that Nigerian Army General Arrested For Defrauding PoS Attendant
A man posing as a General in the Nigerian Army, Nwokoro Gabriel, has been arrested by agents of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly cheating a Point of Sale attendant of N200,000.
This was disclosed by the Command’s Commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, when he strutted suspects on Friday.
Nwokoro produced a fake bank alert after collecting N200,000 from the PoS attendant in Surulere space of Lagos State.
The case was reported by one Obina Jude Eze, who alleged that the suspect at around 3:50pm moved toward his PoS focus to do some money withdrawal.

Odumosu said in Eze’s explanation, he alleged that the suspect professed to be a serving General in the Nigeria Army and a Commanding Officer of an undisclosed Division.
Nwokoro was said to have gone to the PoS point in organization of one Corporal Udo John, who, at the hour of the occurrence, showed up in the uniform of the Nigerian Army.

Odumosu said upon the arrival of the occurrence, the two suspects showed up at the scene in one Lexus SUV with Registration Number JJJ 510 EP.
He added: “At the POS place, they pulled out N200,000.00.
“From that point, the fake General gave one terminated Access Bank ATM card, which the PoS machine dismissed.
“Afterward, he posted a fake alert for him and requested that the driver drive off.
“Upon the receipt of the data, police agents found the vehicle proprietor at Sango Ota in Ogun State and later arrested the driver who drove the police analysts to one lodging in Surulere, Lagos State, where the suspects were taking shelter.
“Investigation is ongoing is c to capture the other escaping individuals from the group.”
