Don’t Conduct Burial On December; Pastor Udofia Tells Christians
…..Pastor Udofia Hails Governor Umo Eno for 13th Month Salary Bonus
Pastor I. O. Udofia, of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, FCT Field, has advised Christians to refrain from conducting burials in December.
Udofia made the call during 2024 FCT field’s annual harvest, held at the Nyanya Area headquarters in Abuja, while preaching on the Topic: Harvest service a season to test believers level of faithfulness, text; Ezra 8:31, Gen 8:22.
According to Pastor Udofia, December is a time for celebration and merriment, not for mourning. He emphasized that fixing burials during this period is wrong, as it goes against the spirit of the season. Instead, people should focus on enjoying the fruits of their labor throughout the year.
Pastor Udofia attributed the approval of 13th-month salaries for civil servants in Akwa Ibom state to the governor’s understanding of the importance of celebration during December. He commended Pastor Umo Eno, the governor of Akwa Ibom, for this gesture.
The pastor also seized the opportunity to applaud Pastor Umo Eno for his kindness to civil servants in Akwa Ibom. He encouraged the workers to appreciate the governor’s generosity and to see him as a blessing from God.
As the seventh Nyanya Area superintendent of the FCT field, Pastor Udofia’s words carry significant weight, and his advice is likely to resonate with many Christians in the region.
