How ‘I Was Very Poor When I Was A Christian Until I Converted To Islam, I Became Rich’ – Asari Dokubo

A Prominent Ijaw Nation Leader and Ex-Militant, Mujahid Asari Dokubo has alleged that his conversion from Christianity to Islam brought wealth and affluence to his life. Dokubo Asari who converted to Islam in 1988 and obtained a Muslim name called Mujahid. Speaking about his conversion in a live video, he asserted that life became pretty much easier for him after he found a new religion that supports his ideology of correcting the ills in the society. According to him, he had trained his children to follow in his footsteps and faith as well.

He said, ”I’m contented with whatever I have and God almighty has blessed me disproportionately. I was poor while I was a Christian but when I converted to Islam, I became rich. I said these things at my 50th birthday party.

I got everyone everything that man desires in life. Is it wealth, is it children, Is it cars? So I don’t compete with people and I train my children to follow in my footsteps. Because we have a name and background to protect.”
