Speaker Abbas Postpones Scheduled Live Media Chat
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, has postponed his scheduled live media chat earlier slated for Monday, November 2, 2026.
The postponement was announced in a statement issued by the Office of the Speaker, citing pressing national engagements as the reason for the decision.
The media interaction, which was scheduled to hold at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, was expected to provide an opportunity for the Speaker to engage with the public through the media.
The statement added that a new date for the engagement would be announced in due course.
The Office of the Speaker apologised for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and appealed to the public and other stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation.
