VIDEO: ‘You Are Not Taking This Job Seriously’ — Phyna Calls Out Nigerian Hookup Girls
Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has called out Nigerian hookup girls, urging them to improve their dressing and appearance after comparing their presentation with that of women she encountered during a recent trip to Kenya.
In a video shared online, Phyna was seen kneeling as she appealed to the women to take their appearance more seriously, particularly those operating around Orchid Road and Farm City in Lagos.
“I want to beg our hookup girls. I’m on my knees. You girls are not even taking this your job serious,” she said.
According to Phyna, some of the women she observed in Lagos appeared insufficiently prepared, with their choice of clothing and lack of makeup drawing her criticism.
She claimed that some would wear simple gowns and bedroom slippers while standing by the roadside in search of customers.
“You just wear clothes as if you are going to buy a recharge card. They are wearing slippers. They’re wearing just one kind gown like that. No makeup, no lip gloss,” she said.
The reality TV star contrasted this with her experience in Kenya, where she said women involved in similar activities paid greater attention to their outfits, makeup and general appearance.
Phyna further questioned why some Nigerian hookup girls complain about receiving low offers from men when, in her opinion, they have not made enough effort to improve their presentation.
She encouraged them to dress more attractively, wear heels, apply makeup and pay attention to details such as their wigs and lip combinations.
“At least, try and do lip combo. People just wear the wig, wear your clothes like that, wear bedroom slippers and stand on the road,” she added.
Her comments have drawn attention to her views on appearance, presentation and expectations within Nigeria’s hookup scene.
