BREAKING: VIDEO: Fire Burn Down Residential Building In Abuja, Destroys Properties Worth Millions Of Naira
Tragedy struck in Abuja on Saturday as properties worth millions of naira were destroyed by a massive fire at Nyanya Area B Last Road, Naija News House gathered.
The fire, which gutted a residential building close to United Evangelical Church, began around 8 p.m. and was said to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Naija News House reported that occupants were unable to remove any personal items nor properties from the building.
Naija News House understand that the residents tried to put out the fire but did not succeed as it was heavily blazing, consuming everything before the arrival of firefighters.”
When firefighters arrived, residents in anger chased them away for arriving late.
Naija News House learned that the occupants of the house were not around during the incident.
At the time of filing this report, the building was still smoldering, as fire fighters had Left. Some of the sympathizers who blamed the incident on the late arrival of the firefighters, noted that Nyanya is about a ten-minute drive from Abuja and wondered why it took firefighters more than 2 hour before they arrived the scene.
