REVEALED: Why FG Closes NIMC Headquarters For Enrolment, Creates 20 center in FCT

On Saturday President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government of Nigeria has approved the closure of enrolments at the headquarters of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and created 20 new centres within Federal capital territory (FCT) Abuja and its environs.

NAIJA NEWS HOUSE understand that, Dr. Isa Pantami, the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy gave the approval to allow Nigerians to participate in the on-going registration exercise with ease.

Mr Kayode Adegoke, the spokesperson of National identity Management Commission (NIMC), said the reactivation of 20 centres within the Abuja would “make the process of National identity Number (NIN) enrolment much easier from Monday, January 18th 2021.”

Adegoke also directed all members of the public, residents and visitors to Abuja wishing to enrol for the National Identification Number (NIN) should use any of below National identity Management Commission (NIMC) centres for the registration;
