This Harassment Is Too Much, Anambra Residents Beg For Governor’s Intervention
The residents of Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area in Anambra, have called for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR’s intervention over the harassment by some groups of thugs claiming to be government workers.
The residents, who spoke with Guild Of Online Media Editors And Publishers (GOMEP) Nigeria during a media project tour on Friday, lamented how some government workers beat and harass people for everything they do individually.

Residents described the so-called government workers as thugs, saying they have never shown the characteristics of working with the government, looking responsible; rather, they all behave rudely, arrogantly, insultingly, and otherwise.
“We don’t know if they’re working with the government or if that’s what the government asked them to do, but Governor Soludo, whom we know, can never ask these people to behave this way with Anambra people. We know some people always misbehave, but that’s not how they should be treated – with respect, at least,” residents lamented.
However, GOMEP understands that almost everybody praised Governor Soludo for his good job in Anambra and prayed for his continuity. “Anambra has never had the opportunity to have this kind of Governor; Truly speaking, Soludo has changed Anambra State to be like a small London,” residents said.
