The Wife of the Executive Chairman, Uruan Local Government in Akwa ibom State, Mrs Ndifreke Iniobong, on Friday lauded departed soldiers for their selfless service to the nation.
She made this statement during 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance day celebration held at Uruan Local Government Council, Idu.
In her first armed force remembrance day since she resumed office as the first lady, Mrs Ndifreke presented wrappers to the widows of the fallen heroes who died on the course of defending the nation.
Tagged as a giver, mother of our Uruan, Eti Eka, she promised to keep working with widows in the local government.
She also reassured them of her continuous support anytime she was called upon.
Mrs Ndifreke noted that the gesture was a way of showing solidarity to them, while praying God to protect them and their families.
