JUST IN: FG Makes U-turn Over NIS, NSCDC Others Recruitment

The federal government has postponed recruitment process into the paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.

In a statement by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), on Wednesday night, the federal government said the recruitment process earlier slated for 26th June, 2025, will now begin almost 20 days later.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), wishes to notify the general public that its recruitment portal which was earlier slated to open on Thursday 26th June, 2025, will now open on Monday 14th July, 2025.

“Also, the Board’s portal address for prospective applicants desiring to apply into the Service of their choice, is now: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

Applicants are kindly requested to take note of the above changes as well as be reminded that all applications are free and do not attract any payment,” the statement read in part.

The Board apologized for any inconvenience caused by the change in date.

Recall that the Board had earlier in the week announced the commencement of recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and the Nigerian Correctional Service.
