A man has shared how their gateman, who earned ₦50,000 monthly, married the company’s accountant, who earned ₦250,000.
According to him, they initially advised the gateman against marrying a woman who earned more than him, warning that she might not respect him.
However, the gateman remained confident and insisted that the accountant would accept him. Weeks later, they were seen spending time together before he eventually proposed and she accepted.
The couple later had a small wedding ceremony.
A month after their wedding, the company’s boss organised a celebration for them. During the event, he praised their love story and announced that the gateman had been promoted to assistant manager.
The man revealed that the former gateman began earning ₦400,000 monthly after his promotion.
