Group Urges Gov Umo Eno to Back Idemudo for House Representative Seat

Supporters of Engr. Ubong Clement Idemudo have intensified calls for his emergence as the member representing Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to his supporters, Idemudo has demonstrated uncommon commitment to the development of his constituency by resigning from a successful career in an oil and gas company in the United Arab Emirates to return home and contribute directly to community growth and development.
They described the decision as a rare act of sacrifice and selflessness, noting that it reflects the kind of leadership needed in Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency at a critical time in its political and developmental journey.
Supporters further stated that Idemudo’s willingness to leave lucrative opportunities abroad in order to serve his people shows responsibility, vision, and readiness for public service.
The group called on sons and daughters of the constituency to unite behind what they described as a people-oriented movement aimed at bringing progress, inclusion, and sustainable development to the area.
They also appealed to Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, to listen to the voice of the grassroots and support the aspiration of Engr. Ubong Clement Idemudo, whom they described as the preferred choice of the people.
According to them, the growing support for Idemudo’s ambition is driven by confidence in his leadership qualities and belief in his capacity to effectively represent the interests of the constituency at the National Assembly.
