National Convention: APC Digital Committee Holds Inaugural Meeting
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Digital and New Media Sub-Committee has officially commenced activities ahead of the party’s forthcoming National Convention, holding its inaugural hybrid meeting in Abuja.
The meeting, which combined both physical and virtual participation, took place at the Niger State Government Lodge in Asokoro, bringing together key members tasked with driving the party’s digital communications strategy.
The sub-committee is mandated to oversee the planning and execution of the convention’s digital framework, with a focus on social media engagement, live streaming of events, and the creation and dissemination of online content.
Leading the committee is the Governor of Niger State, H.E. Mohammed Umar Bago, who serves as Chairman. He is supported by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, as Co-Chairman.
Other members of the leadership team include Hon. Dele Alake as Vice Chairman I, Mr. Stanley Nkwocha as Vice Chairman II, and O’tega Ogra as Secretary. Segun Dada and Theresa Tekenah serve as Assistant Secretaries I and II respectively.
The inauguration of the sub-committee signals the APC’s effort to strengthen its digital presence and ensure seamless online coverage of its National Convention.
