Until You Get People’s Attention, Don’t Waste Your Anointing; Pastor Udofia Warns Clerics
Pastor I.O. Udofia of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, FCT Field, has warned pastors not to waste their anointing on unserious people.
The Nyanya Area Superintendent made this call on Sunday during the dedication of Pastor Inyene Child, Master Mmekutmfon, at The Apostolic Church Kado Area Headquarters, while preaching on the topic ‘That Same Man’, with the text Act 3:1-6, Peter asked for the attention of the lame man, but in Acts 14:8-10 the man that was born lame focus on Paul and his faith was increased without being asked for it
However, Udofia stated that there’s no way anybody can receive a miracle from a pastor if their spirit is not connected to the pastor. Your spirit, mind, attention, and focus must connect with the man of God; otherwise, forget about the miracle. Once you’re connected, no matter how bad your situation is, the problem will be over. according to Roman 10:17 that’s said Faith coming by hearing and hearing the word of God
It is futile for a pastor to preach without getting the attention of the members because nobody will benefit. As a pastor, get the attention of the congregation first before you start preaching; miracles will come when there’s attention, Udofia advised.
Udofia also warned people not to mock anyone’s condition because the same person you mock today may become someone you need help from tomorrow. A person’s condition is not the end of their life. He quoted Acts 14:8-11, saying, ‘And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked…’ Pastor Udofia further shared the story of Haman and Mordecai, how Haman used to victimize Mordecai until God changed the story, and Haman started worshiping Mordecai. It doesn’t take God one second to change anyone’s condition; just know that things can turn overnight, he said. When someone is born with a problem, it takes only the word of God to solve it, so in that case, it is better you give your attention when a pastor is preaching.
