VIDEO: Man Arrested For Writing Promotion Exam For His Father

A 33-year-old man, identified as Monsuru Musa, has been arrested after he was allegedly caught writing the FCT Civil Service Commission promotional examination on behalf of his father.
Monsuru was reportedly caught on Wednesday, October 7, at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), the venue of the examination.
According to Lere Olayinka, spokesperson for the command, the man told security operatives deployed at the instance of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike that his father was sick.
He, however, admitted that his father, Musa Mohammed, who works with the FCT Fire Service, instructed him to sit for the examination on his behalf.
When asked about his father’s age, Monsuru said he was between 67 and 68 years old. However, his father reportedly claimed that he would turn 60 in February 2027.
