Popular Nigerian Pastor Tells Lady How Much To Pay To “Speak With God, Jesus And The Holy Spirit”

A Nigerian lady has sparked outrage on social media after alleging that a pastor demanded money from her before granting her access to spiritual encounters. According to the lady, the pastor told her she would have to pay ₦100,000 to speak with God, ₦50,000 to speak with Jesus, and ₦20,000 to speak with the Holy Ghost.

She disclosed this in a viral post, expressing shock and disappointment at what she described as the commercialization of faith. The lady claimed that the request was presented as part of a “spiritual process” required for deeper revelation and divine communication.

She said she became uncomfortable when specific prices were attached to what should be freely given spiritual experiences. Her revelation has triggered widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians condemning the alleged act and accusing some religious leaders of exploiting vulnerable followers for financial gain. Others called on authorities and religious bodies to investigate and regulate such practices. As of the time of this report, the pastor and the church involved have not issued any official response to the allegation.

The incident has once again fueled the ongoing debate about accountability, ethics, and money within religious institutions in Nigeria.
