Abuja to Host Nigeria-Saudi Investment, Tourism Exhibition August 4–5
The stage is set for the Nigeria-Saudi Investment and Tourism Exhibition 2026, with a press conference and exhibition scheduled to hold from August 4 to 5, 2026, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
The event, themed “Promoting Economic Partnerships Between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” is designed to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation by creating a strategic platform for investors, government officials, business leaders, and financial institutions from both countries.
Organisers said the exhibition builds on the longstanding relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, which spans decades of collaboration in sectors such as energy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, trade, investment, as well as cultural and religious exchanges.
According to the organisers, the exhibition follows the success of previous investment forums and exhibitions, which generated increased interest from both countries in expanding economic cooperation and converting investment opportunities into practical partnerships and viable projects.
The event will showcase Nigeria’s vast investment potential as one of Africa’s largest economies, with opportunities in oil and gas, agriculture, real estate, manufacturing, and tourism. It will also highlight Saudi Arabia’s investment capacity, advanced infrastructure, and economic diversification agenda under Saudi Vision 2030.
Participants are expected to explore collaboration across strategic sectors, including energy, manufacturing, petrochemicals, agriculture, food security, real estate development, tourism infrastructure, and other high-growth industries.
Beyond investment promotion, the exhibition will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and business networking, while facilitating direct engagement between policymakers and private sector stakeholders aimed at fostering strategic partnerships.
The organisers noted that the Hajj and Umrah sector, an existing area of cooperation between both countries, will also feature within a broader framework focused on expanding economic and tourism relations.
They expressed confidence that the exhibition will open new investment opportunities, promote sustainable economic growth, and further strengthen the strategic partnership between Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
