BREAKING: Varsity Student Allegedly Killed Over ₦150,000 Accommodation Fee

A 25-year-old Mass Communication student of Benue State University, Naomi Dooshima, has reportedly been killed over an alleged ₦150,000 accommodation dispute.
According to the police, Naomi allegedly paid the sum to a fellow student, Shago Jaffet, to help her secure accommodation.

Police said Shago failed to provide the apartment and allegedly gambled away the money. When Naomi reportedly demanded a refund, he allegedly invited her to his residence under the guise of discussing the matter.
Investigators alleged that Shago attacked Naomi with a cutlass, killed her and dumped her body on a nearby empty plot.
Her belongings were later recovered, while investigators reportedly traced the ₦150,000 POS transaction to Shago.
Police said the suspect initially denied involvement but later allegedly confessed to the crime.
He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Naomi was reportedly only trying to secure a place to live, but what began as a search for accommodation allegedly ended in tragedy.
