Men Hired for Hostel Renovation by UNICAL Arrested for Stealing
Information reaching us that 2 men hired by university of Calabar management for maintenance work have been arrested for stealing electrical appliances including pressing irons and lamp holders at the school’s hostel.
Security operatives attached to the University arrested them Friday, during a stop-and-search of all vehicles entering the campus and those going out.
We learned that the 2 men were among workers hired by Schools management for the ongoing renovation work in the institution’s hostels, and they confessed to have stolen the items from the hostel after the close of work.
