NNPCL, NUPRC Deepen Partnership On Production Growth, Gas Development
The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has led the company’s Senior Management Team on a courtesy visit to the Commission Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Mr. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in critical priority areas, including production optimisation and growth, operational excellence, cost efficiency, accelerated gas-sector development, maximising energy portfolio value, and boosting investor confidence in Nigeria’s upstream sector.
During the engagement, Engr. Ojulari presented a detailed blueprint of NNPC Ltd.’s recently launched Gas Master Plan, underscoring its strategic importance in repositioning Nigeria’s gas value chain and driving sustainable economic growth. He also sought robust regulatory support to ensure the successful implementation of the plan.
According to a post on NNPC Ltd.’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, both institutions deliberated on practical measures to align their strategic objectives and reinforce Nigeria’s energy security agenda.
The visit reaffirmed NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to deepening collaboration with NUPRC, whose leadership and regulatory clarity remain critical to the stability, growth, and long-term value creation of Nigeria’s upstream petroleum industry.
