Again, Security Operatives Arrest Suspected Bandit in Southern Taraba, Recover AK-47
Security operatives have arrested another suspected bandit in Southern Taraba following an alleged attempt to kidnap a victim in Gidan Amadu, Takum Local Government Area.
The suspect, identified as Mr. Luper, was reportedly arrested with an AK-47 rifle. However, two other suspected members of his gang escaped and are currently being tracked by security operatives.

The development follows an earlier operation by troops of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), who stormed a suspected terrorist hideout in the Peva area of Takum LGA and arrested five individuals believed to be associates of a notorious bandit.
The latest arrest adds to ongoing security efforts to dismantle criminal networks operating in Southern Taraba.
Residents have continued to look towards sustained security operations, improved intelligence sharing and community support to curb the rising threats of kidnapping and armed banditry in the area.
